When Bianca Giteau was invited to Royal Ascot, she knew her outfit had to be something incredible.
Invited by Princess Zara Tindall (nee. Phillips, daughter of Princess Anne), the Australian netball champion was looking for a dress that encapsulated the prestige of the Royal Ascot as well as paying tribute to the 'spectacle of fashion and style' the event is globally known for. "Royal Ascot is Britain’s most valuable race meeting, attracting many of the world’s finest racehorses to compete for more than £5.5milllion in prize money. In 2013, The Queen watched her horse, Estimate, triumph in the Gold Cup. A dedicated racehorse owner, she has attended every Royal Meeting during her reign and the Royal Procession is always an iconic moment to herald the start of every raceday.
Anticipated and revered, these five days are made for socialising. Long seen as a spectacle of fashion and style, they are referenced the world over."
Bianca wore an only one ashley design that has since been named for her. The ‘Royal Bianca’ dress combines a seam bodice, unique neckline, drop waist and flared skirt in a fully lined soft scuba fabric, flattering all body shapes and sizes. Bianca says it was a dream to wear:
“Kate, I had an amazing day and felt every part of it. Truly loved your dress and got quite a few compliments too. I would love to keep in touch and will definitely be wearing only one ashley again xx”
